Methionine is one of the first two limiting amino acids for milk and milk component production in North American dairy diets. It is an essential amino acid used as a building block for proteins, therefore, meeting your cow's methionine requirements is fundamental to the health and wellness of the dairy cow. Forages, feedstuffs and dietary intakes are extremely variable in the amount of metabolizable methionine (MP Methionine) supplied, which can negatively impact milk and milk component production.

MetiPEARL^™ combines ruminal escape with high intestinal digestibility, resulting in one of the most cost-effective sources of MP Methionine for dairy cattle on the market. Meeting MP Methionine requirements using a rumen protected form can help optimize production and allow for greater flexibility when formulating rations. MetiPEARL is encapsulated using the company's proprietary MicroPEARLS™ spray freezing process, which delivers the nutrients to the right place at the right time.
