Carotenoids
Vibrant egg yolk color highlights the quality and care that goes into producing eggs. Kemin has carotenoids for conventional, natural, and organic producers.
Conventional
- ORO GLO® 50 is a stable, highly concentrated source of yellow pigments and lutein derived from marigolds. Including it in your formulation leads to improved yolk colors and higher lutein content.
- KEM GLO™ is a stabilized source of red pigments sourced from paprika. When used in combination with ORO GLO 50, egg producers can more efficiently achieve higher yolk color targets than what can be achieved by ORO GLO 50 alone.
Natural
- ORO GLO® N is a source of yellow pigments derived from marigolds. It assists in improving egg yolk color and increasing lutein levels. It is formulated for use in natural egg production programs.
Organic
- Organic ORO GLO® provides yellow pigments sourced for organically grown marigolds and improves egg yolk color and increases lutein levels. It is approved for use in organic production programs.
- Organic KEM GLO™ provides red pigment sourced from organically grown paprika and improves egg yolk color beyond what can be achieved with Organic ORO GLO alone. It is approved for use in organic production programs.

Kemin Customer Laboratory Services (CLS)
Through its Customer Laboratory Services (CLS), Kemin offers customers a complimentary validation to test color and lutein values in egg yolks. CLS analyzes organic and non-organic feed ingredients to compare the consistency of lutein and color levels to the customer's carotenoid specification.
