Xygest™ HT
Xygest™ HT is an intrinsically thermostable xylanase enzyme that ensures delivery of the benefits you need across a wide variety of diets and conditions.
By breaking down the non-starch polysaccharides content of feed ingredients, Xygest™ HT works to accelerate the activity of beneficial gut bacteria, so birds absorb and utilize more nutrients.
If xylanase lacks temperature stability, it can break down when exposed to high heat in the feed conditioning process, reducing its effectiveness. Xygest™ HT is an intrinsically thermostable xylanase enzyme that ensures delivery of the benefits you need across a wide variety of diets and conditions.
In both broilers and layers, Xygest™ HT delivers impressive results. Compared to conventional feed mixtures, broilers given mixtures with Xygest HT achieved higher weights while consuming less feed — and layers produced more eggs of better quality.
Feed can be up to 70% of a poultry operation’s expenses. Xygest™ HT is an effective strategy to reduce this expense: Feed cost savings of $14/ton — without affecting production parameters — have been documented. You’ll spend less on feed overall and can reduce or eliminate the use of other feed additives.
A more nourished bird is a healthier bird that’s better able to resist and recover from illnesses and parasites — as well as heal from injuries. Healthier birds increase your profits and reduce your expenses.
Xygest™ HT can be used on top to improve poultry performance or with reformulation to reduce feed cost. Both strategies lead to a reduced feed cost per kilogram of weight gain.
Bigger broilers that produce more meat. Healthier layers that produce more eggs of better quality. Trial data proves it: Xygest™ HT delivers.
Broilers fed diets supplemented with Xygest™ HT 20D had significantly higher body weight gain and lower feed conversion ratio when compared to the negative control group.

Supplementation of 20D significantly increased amount of volatile fatty acids in the intestine from 200 g/MT.
A part of the beneficial effects of Xygest™ HT 20D is associated with the prebiotic-like effect owing to the in-situ generation of oligosaccharides. The supplementation of Xygest™ HT 20D has been shown to increase short chain fatty acids content in the intestine and sustain positive changes in gut morphology.
