Farm conditions often expose animals to stress, which can lead to poor performance and susceptibility to disease. Instead of relying on a reactive solution for stressful situations, you can take a more proactive approach to animal health with Aleta™. Aleta™ is a proactive solution for intestinal health and stress management that maintains animal performance.
Aleta™ is a highly bioavailable immunomodulator offering a high and consistent concentration of Beta 1,3 Glucan to improve immunity and animal performance. Aleta provides a consistent ROI in situations of disease and stress — especially situations typically addressed with antibiotics.
Nonspecific Immune Modulation for Animal Health
Nonspecific immune modulation helps to heighten immunologic capabilities at a time when an ani mal may be exposed to one or more pathogens and/or be compromised immunologically.
Unlike yeast products – which contain only 5-15 percent Beta Glucan and require extraction from an indigestible cell wall – Aleta™ is produced from a unique alga (Euglena gracilis) containing more than 50 percent Beta Glucan. These algal cells are highly digestible, making Aleta™’s Beta Glucan bioavailable without extraction.
Aleta™ is a new source of Beta 1,3 Glucan derived from a unique species of microalgae. Beta 1,3 Glucan is a chain of glucose molecules connected by Beta-Glycosidic bonds between #1 and #3 carbons.

Aleta™ has a clear mode of action at the molecular level of the active ingredient. In contrast, the many different components of competitive products make their modes of action less clear.

*EPI: The European production index of broilers fed 100 g/ton of Aleta™ supplemented diets had 2.79 percent higher body weight gain, 3.15 percent higher feed intake, 1.26 percent better FCR, 2.38 percent lower mortality and 6.32 percent higher EPI.
Heat treatment of Aleta™ by autoclaving at 121°C/15 PSI and 135°C/30 PSI for 30 minutes has very little effect on the Beta-(1,3)-Glucan granule that comprises about 50 percent of the product by weight. The granule appears unchanged by microscopic observation and is efficiently phagocytosed by macrophages and dendritic cells. This study showed that heat and pressure had very little effect on the biological activity of Aleta™. Product was efficiently phagocytosed by macrophages and dendritic cells even after extremely harsh treatments by heat and pressure. This would suggest that Aleta™ is robust enough to go through processing treatments and still remain efficacious.
