Michelle Lim
President, Global Strategic Platform Enzymes
Michelle Lim is president of Global Strategic Platform, Enzymes, a role she assumed in 2024 after 15 years in Kemin.
Lim joined Kemin in 2008 as finance director for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – Asia Pacific. As a member of the business unit’s leadership team, she provided analysis and insights to build Kemin’s strategy in the market. Lim built a strong and stable finance team while refining processes to help the business unit through a significant growth phase.
In 2011, Lim was promoted to vice president of finance, overseeing finance for Kemin teams in China, India and throughout Asia. She added the Sub-Saharan Africa region to her scope of financial oversight in 2019. While in this position, Lim also participated in various acquisitions, including Kemin’s investment in CRVAB Bio-technology Company Ltd., for which she is now on the board of directors.
In 2019, Lim was promoted to president of Kemin Food Technologies - Asia, overseeing the Food Technologies business in China, India, and throughout Asia. In this role, Lim established the business footprint of Kemin’s business in many parts of China and India, and expanded the product offerings to include solutions in food safety, food quality, and processing. Lim also established technical centers of excellence in Zhuhai, China, and Singapore to service our customers more closely.
Prior to joining Kemin, Lim worked for major accounting firms, including Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, where she was involved in various merger and acquisition transactions.
Lim received her Bachelor of Accountancy, Honors Degree from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She is a Certified Public Accountant, and Lim is also a board member of the nonprofit organization Centre for Fathering, Dads for Life.
