In each of those sustainability lenses, we created our pillars of action to become an increasingly sustainable company.
With the Garmon brand, we collaborate with Kemin's plan to become Net Zero by 2050. In addition, Garmon's launches are aligned with market demands, focusing on chemicals certified by prestigious institutions such as ZDHC Gateway and Bluesign®.
Another example of sustainability in action was the launch of the new smart foam technology, developed by Garmon in 2019, and since then present in many of our customers around the world. smart foam has the capacity to operate using up to 80% less water than conventional laundry processes, and by operating at room temperature, promotes energy and time savings.
The use of the smart foam allows laundries to perform stone washing process without the use of pumice stones, reducing the environmental impacts, the improper disposal, and consequences of massive raw material exploitation.
These are just a few examples of the sustainability practices present in our daily life at Garmon that contribute for the recognition of our brand in the international textile market.
