Pat Wood

Chief Financial Officer

Pat Wood is chief financial officer (CFO) for Kemin Industries, a role he assumed in 2020, after seven years with the company.

During his tenure at Kemin, Wood has led multiple due diligence and acquisition teams domestically and internationally. He joined Kemin in 2013, working in the Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – North America business unit. In 2015, Wood became finance director for the business unit, leading the finance teams in the United States, Mexico and Canada. In 2018, Wood took on the position of vice president of finance for Kemin Nutrisurance, the global pet food and rendering technologies business unit. In this role, he focused on growing the business and driving down costs. He served Kemin Nutrisurance in this capacity prior to his current role. 

Wood received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from the University of Iowa.

He serves as a board member for Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa, U.S.
