After several years of importing products from Kemin headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, sold through distributors, Kemin decided to establish manufacturing and administration facilities in Brazil in Indaiatuba, São Paulo. These facilities are dedicated to serving the animal nutrition and health industry in South America with sales present in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.
In 2008, Kemin acquired a controlling interest in Nord Palatabilizantes do Brasil, a palatant manufacturer located in Chapeco, Brazil, now managed by our pet food division.
