Kemin welcomes Michael Zheng

SHANGHAI, China - March 4, 2010 - Kemin welcomes Michael Zheng as business director for the China food technologies division of Kemin Industries. In his new role, Michael will provide leadership to the sales team as well as oversee other functional areas of the food technologies business in China.

“Our business in China has more than doubled in the last few years, with continued growth expected in the future,” says Melanie Galloway, president of the food technologies division of Kemin Industries.  “I am confident Michael’s extensive experience in the industry will enable him to further Kemin’s position as a leading supplier for the Chinese food industry.” 

Zheng has held key positions with several companies in the food industry, most recently at DSM where he served as business manager for soy peptides in the Asia Pacific.   He holds a Food Science degree from Shihezi University, Shihezi, Xinjiang and is working to attain his Masters of Business Administration at Fudan University, Shanghai, China which he will complete in June 2010.
