Kemin to participate in DUCURS, April 16, 2009

The Drake Undergraduate Science Collaborative Institute (DUSCI) will hold a conference to celebrate the accomplishments of their student researchers at the 6th Annual Drake University Conference on Undergraduate Research in the Sciences (DUCURS).  The conference will feature the work of students and faculty through oral and poster presentations from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p. m. on Thursday, April 16 in the Olmsted Center on Drake’s campus. In addition, there will be a special luncheon held during the conference, sponsored by Kemin Industries, Inc.  The luncheon will feature guest speaker John A. Greaves, Ph.D., Director, Specialty Crop Improvement, Kemin Industries.  Dr. Greaves will speak about his current research and opportunities for life science graduates in Iowa in a presentation titled, “Phyto-Manufacturing: Optimizing Fine Chemical Production in Plants.”
