Angela Schroeder
Dr. Angela Schröder graduated from the University of Kiel, Animal production in Germany in 1982 and received her PhD in 1987. The topic of his PhD was “Ruminal degradability of different protected soybean meals in dairy cows”. She also followed a post doctoral position at the Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology at the University of Kiel (Germany). The main topic for this post-doc was the evaluation of the potential of glycerol as a by-product of biodiesel production in diets for ruminants
Prior to joining Kemin Dr. Schröder worked as Technical Support Manager for Dr. Pieper Technologie- und Productentwicklung GmbH in Wuthenow (Germany). This involved working on the presentation of concepts based on scientific results and practical experiences, consulting activities in feeding at farm level and involved in planning, management, realization and evaluation of trials concerning silage quality and nutrition of high yielding dairy cows. Dr. Schröder helped apply new feeding and management solutions and carried out several trials that helped the sales and development of the company.
She joined Kemin January 2008 as Technical Support Manager Ruminants for Northern Europe.
